    Oh yes, dogfighting quadcopters.... Add a paintball weapon and FPV ?

    Those clips in the TED video did seems to have a lot of abrupt cuts!

    Recorded video is so nice in that respect. Of course failures are to be expected for this kind of pioneering work. Part of the learning process.

    I've often wondered how many quads they go through in a year of research. Do they have undergrads build them 20 at a time? I'm guessing they are high-end which means $800 each, perhaps $300 if re-using parts.

    On the other hand, probably easy to get funding for this kind of research if working on the really difficult problems.
