Will Prop BOE threads be on the Propeller Chip forum or elsewhere?

I've been watching the original 'Prop BOE being fabbed ' thread on the General Discussion forum but not much has been added in days.

As the title asks, is this the proper forum to watch for Prop BOE threads?

I suppose everyone who got their Prop BOE is busy working with theirs. So not much showing up yet. If this is the proper place to watch. Thanks for all replies.

I plan to start a thread later today (I might not get to it until tomorrow) about upgrading my BOE-Bot with the PropBOE. I plan to start the thread in the Robot forum.

I hadn't planned on documenting the upgrade by someone had asked about code for using the PropBOE with the BOE-Bot so I thought I'd share what I was doing in case it can help someone else.

I've seen BOE-Bots upgraded with a QuickStart board here in the Propeller forum so I don't think there's a hard and fast rule.

I'd think for general PropBOE stuff, the Propeller forum would be the right place to post.

    Thanks Duane,

I suppose I'm just a bit impatient. Though I'd think the Propeller forum would be the place for general Prop BOE threads. I understand using the robot forum for dedicated threads.

Just too early for much of anything to show up late (plus my impatience).

I plan to look into the voice synthesis (Gracey/ Pilgrim) first probably, while I figure out what's needed for the SD card use.

Learn.parallax.com is up and running. There's a section there for the Prop BOE to get you started with some programming and basic H/W interfacing.

Shameless plug: Try using PropBOE Basic. It's derived from DongleBasic from the ObEx and will let you fiddle with the I/O pins and store programs and data on an SD card. There's an I2C statement that will let you access the ADC (no examples available yet).

I'm very excited about the PropBOE. No more "How do I make the robot make sound and drive at the same time?" problems. And scores of other issues caused by trying to control all the sensors and all the servos on a robot from a single program loop.

Propellers and robots are like [insert favorite two things that go together here]!

I'm running out of day. I wont start my PropBOE-Bot project until tomorrow. (I'm just about finished with my daisy-chained magnetic encoder project though.)
