These vintage Comburobots are fun and everyone oughta have one IMHO. (I have several from lowball offers!)

They pop up on Ebay periodically, typically $15-20. Two on Ebay around $20 now:

They are keyboard-programmable, much like a Big Trak (move, blink, sound) for a lot less.

There's another rarer gray one for $85. Pass on that one! http://www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-Axlon-COMPUROBOT-battery-op-Back-Hole-Vincent-Old-Bob-ROBOT-toy-w-BOX-/260894302296?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cbe832058

Maybe I'll bring my collection of vintage toy robots to EXPO...

The gray one is the one I had. I donated it to a museum, so it has a good home now. I think I only played with it once or twice. Kinda cute, obviously modeled after VINCENT, from the Movie That Will Not Be Referred To By Name. (Because if you say its name, the theme song will get stuck in your head for two days.)

Did you say you were actually going? Are you driving, or flying?

Yessir. Driving up, likely in the wee hours Friday morning. Company function Thursday night. Perhaps another Batmobile in the offing!

Plus, by driving I can take more stuff up without TSA worrying about batteries and things that look explosive.

Like the flamethrowing BoeBot I'm bringing for Ken, for instance. :)
