Its coming out in the USA later this year. (I'm the designer).
Parallax will be selling a special version of them that they will manufacture. In the mean time Parallax may stock the black model advertised on the web.
In a few weeks Robotshop should be carrying them who will sell to the USA.
Should be noted that the initial version Kye mentions is an Arduino shield. We'd rather stock this in an agnostic form factor with a dual right-angle header so it can stand up vertically, if mounted in a breadboard.
I haven't looked at our design queue lately, but it'll be a while. If another supplier would like to manufacture it we might be interested in being the first customer.
