Typical response time from browser to Prop response?

Is there a 'typical' range of time for the Prop to receive data from a remote browser? I suppose the internet provider affects access rates, as well as the internet provider for the browser.

How long is a piece of string? There really isn't a good answer to your question. You can get an idea of the latency by pinging the browser's IP address (assuming the system on that end will respond to a ping). When I pinged my server, the turnaround was about 90 ms between Washington State and Florida. Add to that the amount of data transmitted, and the load on your ISP's last mile -- especially if you're on a cable system -- and the variance can be almost anything.
