If you've never had a face full of auroras, maybe here's your chance!
For more info, go to the following:

Quoting the website:
...Analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab, who prepared the CME's forecast track, say the impact could spark a strong-to-severe geomagnetic storm. Sky watchers at all latitudes should be alert for auroras....

It's obviously dark there by now. Can you see any auroral activity? Or is it overcast/foggy?

With a little practice, you can learn to read what jumps and wiggles translate into easily viewable auroras. These signals are transmitted from satellites far out in space between the earth and sun, and since their radio signals move faster than the solar mass ejections, these readings will give you about 40 minutes warning before they hit earth.

Good luck.

as the normal POES-based auroral oval prediction system is currently down.
It's due today and tonight (Thursday), apparently:

I'm on the South coast, so I might not see much.

With so much obvious talent present on planet earth, I'm sure the sun will feel obliged to spare us any globally catastrophic blow.
This particular CME seems to have been a fizzle. But don't despair. Old Sol is just ramping up for the active portion of its sunspot cycle.
I'm sure there will be many more opportunities to see auroras over these next few years. Meanwhile, let's see some more awesomeness from AKB48.
Aurorae.
Yes, that too. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/auroras
