    Always thought it would be cool if they could do that inside out. Solid bullet of a car outside, but inside it would be like your seat was flying through air with no blind spots.

    The effect is angle-dependent. If the camera is looking perpendicular to the vehicle, but you're looking at the vehicle from a different angle, the image and background won't line up. Still very cool, though!

    I remember for years LCD manufacturer were struggling to get a wider viewing angle. Shouldn't it be possible to make arrays of narrow view angle elements?

    This would go a long way towards thermoptic camouflage for my tachikoma.
