System/Code time execution. Is my math right.

I followed this info. http://www.parallaxsemiconductor.com/sites/default/files/appnotes/AN009-ExecutionTime-v1.0_0.pdf for calculating spin speed.

I'm getting a value of 3379000. I'm transmitting from a xbee controller(home built) and sending it to a second prop with a xbee and asking a dec value.
I divided it by 80Mhz and get a value of 43ms time of execution time.

I know this isn't quite exact but a rough value is good.
Sound right?

What's the baud rate in and out and the number of bytes that are going back and forth. You could do a rough calculation with those values and see how it compares to your measurement. That said, I frequently use the CNT register to time code; assuming you've set things up correctly the information should be good.

Xbee's are running at 38400. I'm not sure on the bytes. I'm actually running the same code snipet you posted.
