I just received my copy of Microncontroller Kickstarts by Gordon McComb.

What a fun collection of interfacing information. Twelve things to hook up to your Propeller, Basic Stamp or Arduino and sample code to get you started on each one. A great casual read, ideas to try, tips to make thing work right.

Great job, Gordon!!

Get this on display next to the hardware in retails locations and I imagine people will grab some parts, grab the book and embark on a new hobby!

I received a copy with last week's Parallax order and read through it last weekend. I think it would be great for a beginner as it covers many popular microcontrollers they are likely to encounter. Plus seeing the same project on multiple platforms can help non-beginners branch out cross platform.

Since I already use the Basic Stamp, Arduino, and Propeller I plan to bring it to the office and loan it to co-workers who express interest in physical computing.
