Pullup resistors

I like to use some pull up resistors on my prop pins, and I remember being told something about using 3.3k resistors when using +3.3v. Is this a reasonable value?

Well It depends on the reason for the pullup.

    1. 100K to 1M Just to keep a pin from floating to allow the minimum possible power consumption.
    2. 1K to 10K for signal outputs when driving interfaces such as I2C. The lower values if there is considerable capacitance on the lines.
