So I was working a crossword puzzle the other day and encountered this clue: "_______ Ohm." I hadn't the faintest. Which makes me wonder: how well do we really know the guys we work with every single day? Are we on a first-name basis with any of them? So here's a short quiz:
1. _______ Ohm
2. _______ Volta
3. _______ Amp

    I got 4, 5 and 8. Number 2 was so close that I'm going to claim half a point for it - like guessing John when it is really Juan.

    3.5 for me.

    4 and one by his middle/nickname so I'l claim 4.5

    Whatever happened to Maxwell, Siemen and most appropriately here Joule?

    No, I like to use these Webershttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weber_carburetor.

    Good for delivering lots of watts and wasting lots of joules:)

    I knew 2, 4, 5, 8, and thought I knew 7. But it turns out I knew the middle name also, so I'm at a 4.5 as well.

    OMG, you mean these are people?

    And all this time I thought they were spirits, like that little demon known as Maxwell.

    1 correct, but I thought I knew the middle name but got it wrong;
    4,5,6 exactly,
    2, 7 close but misspelled
    10 partially correct

    so I score 4.something
