Hey new friends,
I completed my first Hydra game: StarBlaster
It's a pretty standard side-scrolling shooter. The code is makes heavy use of the Hydra demo code, so expect some familiar elements. You can download it at

I totally agree. When I first started programming, I remember feeling very close to the hardware. Since then it's been all platforms and libraries and abstracted languages. The Hydra makes me feel "in control" of the software again, which is nice. My brief (and continuing) experience with the Propeller and Spin has been incredibly rewarding.

Awesome! I can't wait to try it! I've been day dreaming a lot lately of creating a video game with the propeller and been reeding Andre's book when I have time. Maybe soon!
