Prof, that's an interesting find. I'll have to add that to my burgeoning list or projects I'd really like to try. You going to give it a go?

The frequency generator chip specified in their BOM appears to be EOL (no longer available at Mouser and octoparts not coming up with any good alternative sources...unless you want to buy 25 of them). But surely there must be suitable alternative devices available...
