using potentiometers to control servos

I plan on making an airsoft turret controled by a joystick. It uses potentiometers and I was just wondering if anyone had any code and schematics for how to use potentiometers so when the potentiometer is rotated forward the servo keeps spinning until I go back to certain spot on the potentiometer. Thanks!

Sure, that's easy with a Stamp or Prop. Read a pot, and make the servo follow along. See the "What's a Microcontroller" text. And watch

Thanks and this will also come in handy but I needed it so the servo doesn't follow the potentiometer I was thinking more like an rc car were if you tilt the stick forward the motor continues to spin. Got anything for that? Thanks!

That's just a speed control on a regular motor, or a servo modified for continuous rotation. Take your pick!

I was thinking like if the resistance is a certain amount then have the motor spin and depending on the resistance it would change speeds. Because I'm building an airsoft gun turret controled by a joystick which uses potentiometers. P.S I like your profile picture.
