stingray part list check

Hi,

I have read about the changes on the stingray kit on
http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?134971-Stingray-Robot-Kit-Changes-(-28980)&highlight=stingray

I'm new to propeller but would like to buy all parts I need for a working stingray/(propeller or BS2) robot.(all at once to reduce shipping costs...)


Are these lists complete? or is not all required?

case 2 Stingray/Propeller

You'll need two of the HB-25's in either case, and if you are going with the Propeller protoboard solution you'll need headers like this and soldering skills.

You'll also need some basic wiring / soldering skills to build power harnesses in order to get power to all three devices (HB-25 x 2 and uC board).

If you can wait a while Parallax will be coming out with a Propeller BOE that would allow you to use the propeller without any soldering.
