How do I turn on an AOpen power supply

Does anyone here know how to turn on an AOpen FSB235-60GT power supply?
The power supply is removed from one of my old computers and can be turned on only when attached to the main board and then pushed a button at the computers front panel.
One of the output cables is white and called P.G.signal, I suspect that cable has a key function here.
My plan is to use the 5 and 12V to run a Dell LCD-screen with broken power supply board.

I've also read it's a good idea to provide a load to the power supply using an old hard drive.
This article helped me understand thing when I reused an old power supply.

Free day starts in two and a half hours, maybe you could get one for free.
Pretty easy, simply by connecting pin 16 to ground, but how could I know that!
