New 88MC200 Micro from Marvel

Despite the trendy double-buzz words of Green and Smart in the link, it is the combination of features that appeals on this part.
** The device is RAM based (but lots of it, at 512k)
** It includes a QuadSPI 1MB memory in the package (less clear if Execute from this is supported?)
** It comes in small (for this class of core) 64-100 pin packages
** It is a 55nm process.
No price indicators found ?
An obvious lead here, is for Parallax to include the same QuadSPI in package approach on their new Prop II.
Some vendors also allow Execute from the QSPi, but at obviously lower MIPS.
The fast stuff goes into RAM, and the rarely used code/menus etc, can park off in the QFlash.

It is of course very new, and the again strangely titled

has a photo of a WiFi module, with a December 2011 date code. (but no order codes)
So ES samples at least exist, even if data is elusive..
It was the RAM+Flash combination that caught my attention.
This processor sounds similar to the Marvel processor used in the Chumby and I've seen people turn the Chumby into a robot controller using its GPIO pins.
