E-Net Module vs Spinnernet

I am out of my element and don't grasp all the lingo, so I can't seem to compare the two. Is the Gadget Gangster e-net module doing the same web serving type functions as the spinnernet?

I have a future project on my future project list where I want to be able to track an object on a paintball field (~60 acres) and display it's position in real time on a web page.

I was thinking of using a GPS module with two xbee pros. With one of the xbee's attached to the webserver module.

I have a Spinneret and a gadgetgangster propeller platform (non USB). The spinneret is half the size of that. If you take into account that the e-net module has to be stacked on top of the propeller platform and you also need to add the SD-module, it's even more than 4 times smaller than a comparable gadgetgangster solution.

    Spinneret:
    + includes a realtime-clock
    + includes a SD-card-slot
    + works with 10/100base network
    - needs a USB plug for programming

    E-net:
    - 10base network only
    - realtime clock not included
+ together with propeller platform USB you don't need a USB-plug
+ SD card slot included in propeller platform USB

But you should know by yourself what your needs are. The realtime-clock is nice for logging events with a timestamp. SD-card is good if you want more than just the raw-data to be served by the module. 10 or 100 base network should not be a no-go, as the pro peller won't be able to use the full bandwidth of the 100Mbit network anyway.

To add the xbee might be easier with the gadgetgangster board. I have a small prototyping-board stacked on my gadgetgangster.

Thank you that helps, but truthfully I couldn't make up my mind if they even did the same sort of thing. I have a lot of web server lingo to learn.
