Does anyone know exactly which microphone model is the Propeller Demo Board using?

Right now I'm looking into phenomenon of electret microphones picking up interference from 2.4 GHz devices. I've noticed that this happens with an integrated microphone inside my laptop (unfortunately no datasheet for it :() and a HITPOINT PMOF-9767NW-46UQ (datasheet) microphone. The amount of interference they pick up is about the same. On the other hand the integrated microphone on the Demo Board is picking up much less interference, so I'd like to see if there's anything special about it other than physical size because my results so far lead me to believe that it is the capsule itself of the microphone that is picking up the interference. When I ground the capsule body, I don't get any interference at all.

I believe Parallax said that this microphone was very close to the one used on the demo board.

Not sure is available in your country.

That microphone is actually bigger than the one on the demo board and appears to be (in the aspect I'm analyzing right now) closer to the one I linked to.

Anyway, I managed to obtain some smaller electret microphones and so far all of them do pick up interference and the amount of interference picked up seems to be related to size of the microphone. It's just interesting that I haven't seen that more widely documented.

This is the microphone that we currently use for boards made in the USA: http://octopart.com/wm-64pnt-panasonic-154658. For boards made in overseas, the manufacturer will use an equivalent part, but it may not have the exact same specifications.
