Hello and thank you for your time.
I recently bought a wireless usb hub from parallax web. But what i exactly need is a fully wireless hub. What i am thinking is use an ic7805 to regulate the power. I can use same batteries i use for 7.2VDC motor (from 7.2V Motor, Bracket and Wheel Kit) that can actually work cause i have those 2V difference i need. My question is, wireless hub will actually work, when from 3A which says it needs (correct me if i am wrong) it goes to 1-1.5. Hub will be connected only with Bs2 homeboard, and a regular camera!
Is what i said right? Can that work? Any better solutions?
The only i need is a wireless hub connected to bs2 and camera , taking power from batteries (if its possible from those 7.2V so i dont have to put more huge batteries)

P.S. i havent bought those 7.2 batteries , so if a change could be done even there is still fine!

Do you have a multimeter to measure voltage and/or current?
If you can measure the current your various components draw, you'll have good idea of how big a battery you'll need.
I doubt the hub needs 3A all the time. That's probably what's needed if you're powering multiple USB devices from the hub. If you could measure the current used by your various components you could be sure.
I'm betting your robot's motors are going to be your main power draw and those wont be powered through the hub.

So with the correct A and 7.2V batteries and ic7805 to regulate volts i can make wireless usb hub to work properly? (when usb hub is only connected with a camera and bs2 usb cable!)
