Parallax to be closed Monday - surprise for team and apology to customers!

Hey all,

We're closed tomorrow (Friday) and we decided that it would be great to reward the Parallax crew with another paid day off on Monday, January 2nd. Parallax has been crazy productive since August and I think people would appreciate another day to get ready for the new year. Apparently a few of the crew won't want to take Monday off but I doubt they'll be the kinds who answer the phones. If you answer phones at Parallax you have a very demanding job and need a break more than the rest of us.

This will be a bit of an inconvenience for our customers, and I'm sorry for that. I'll be sure that any RED deliveries are handled promptly Tuesday morning. Rest assured that we will return to work (fun?) on Tuesday with 125% productivity and the desire to serve you better than ever in 2012.

    I am sure the team deserves it, just hope it doesn't delay the Prop BOE much longer ;)

    Oh how we think exactly alike.

    There will be no further delays around the Propeller BOE, especially as a result of the additional day off.

    Pre-ordering will be enabled by Friday, BTW.

    That's great Ken. I have been off since December 16th, and return on the 3rd as well. With my overwhelming taskload since August as well, it was a welcome break. Only a couple emergency calls from work, otherwise my staff held the fire down. I am sure that Tuesday will be a hectic day for your place and mine, as well as numerous other places that have been closed for extended holidays.

    I can't wait to order my late xmas gift!

    The week following the news years day holiday is one of the busiest my team will experience all year (I manage an IT Service Desk), so yea... not looking forward to that so much.
