BS2p to BS2p serial communications.

Hello all and Happy Holidays. I have a question. I want to comminicate between two BS2p's bidirectionally via serial. The P0 to P0 is the data line and the P1 to P1 is the flow control line as shown in the pic below.

My question is this. What would happen if both BS2p's programs were listening for data at the same time?

    With your setup, both Stamps would be picking up ambient noise for their input signal. You probably should have a pullup to Vdd for the data line, much like you have a pulldown for the flow control line.
