Prop resets on usb connection?

Hello!

I want to be able to disconnect and connect the usb interface for example on the protoboards without the prop resets.(wich it does if memory serves me)

Is that possible?


I want that because i want an terminal interface-like function for my project!

You can if you disable the reset pin & enable it when you want to program the Prop1.

That was simple enough! Wonder if its possible to do that to a protoboard?

Hmm... one way is to de-solder the Prop's reset pin from its pad & place a DIP switch that close the circuit between the Prop's reset pin & the reset pad.

I usually put a jumper in series with the reset pin. It would be wise to put a 10K pull up on the Prop side, just in case "the /BOE not being enabled" gets you.
