Eddie -- Encoder error

Save using a micrometer, I've adjusted the encoder wheels to the center of the counter as best I can.

If I cycle Eddiie, I can issue 'TRVL 1A3 25' and the wheels move (I have it up on blocks). Any command after that yields an 'Encoder error'. In order to clear it, I must cycle Eddie again.

Any ideas on trouble shooting this?

    Hey Joss,

    Have you tried the latest version of the firmware? We just posted it today, and you can download it here. It addresses some of the previous issues we've seen with the encoders.

    Let us know if you run into any other problems.

    Eddie Firmware version 1,1 rocks!
    Now no more resetting Eddie control board!

    Now only left the small "PING occasionally returns zero value" problem.....

    I just downloaded the firmware. I'll try it out this evening.

    The MS to Eddie link is working well for me. I've put together a C# console app that allows me to send/receive instructions. Such a simple interface. Very cool.

    Strange that I am not seeing these replies in email. I must have done something wrong.
