Parallax Forum on KIndle Fire

My wife has a Kindle Fire and I have been surfing the Forums on it a good bit, but I can not post. I am logged in. Everything seems to worrk okay. But when I click reply, the message editor comes up fine. Then I touch in the message box and a highlighted box appears, but the keyboard doesn't come up on the Fire. Is this a Kindle software issue or a Forum issue?

I occassionaly browse and post on my iPhone with no issues, so I suspect it has something to do with the Kindle Fire's software. Any ideas. The larger display is certainly nice.

I have been meaning to post the same thing, but for my Nook color. When the forums were upgraded about a month or two ago which added a few more buttons to the post text fields, something changed where my Nook doesn't recognize the field as a text entry field anymore. I also click in the field, see a text box highlight for a second, but no keyboard. Forcing a keyboard doesn't help because the field is not recognized by the Nook's browser. Not sure if it affects Android based phones in the same way, because if I use the browser in phone mode, I can get it to work but then other sites don't (like youtube; videos don't buffer properly in phone mode and they are low resolution). It would really be nice to be able to post from my Nook in desktop mode.
