Shade the face blue, and you could be a REAL Avatar, or keep the Grinch, or not. :)

LOL! 'Looks like Santa got into some bad reindeer meat and spilled Pepto Bismol all over his shirt. :)

Ken, you look good in green! Don't change a thing!

The avatar is ok if it represents the good Grinch at the end of the story that will provide ELEV8s to all of the Whos. If it represents the evil Grinch who withholds ELEV8s (ELVE8s?) then I'm not so happy with it.

Edit: Appropriately, I got my Doctor Whoville t-shirt in the mail today:

I thought that someone better add Ken's avatar to the thread before he changes it to something else. Here's the avatar under discussion.

When did Santa become green with envy? You already have the best selection of toys to play with. What else could Ken possibly want?

Nothing else, truthfully. Parallax provides everything I need to make my wildest dreams come true! Well, I guess I could use a laser cutter at home. . . but I don't need that because everybody else in the office is already printing to one, so I only need to send my files to one of my colleagues and then I find parts on my desk.

    Ken

I was reflecting upon posts I made yesterday and the responses that came back. Then I got to thinking about your response of:
    Nothing else, truthfully.

With Christmas just eight days away, it may have been a good opportunity to post your wish list :) Considering that I am a nice guy, I am gonna give you the same thing I did last Christmas, "only a different color". :)

On a side note, with the exception of adding a couple self-adhesive rulers, which I need to order, I will finish a new machine tonight. Just a few more holes to drill and tap, and I will have a very nice piece of equipment. Speaking of envy, this machine looks sweet. I made it for cutting circuit boards, but this machine should also cut aluminum or steel plate upto 3/16" thick. This machine does not include the electronics package such as, motor driver, controller, and power supply. As for me, I wish I had an electronics package I could just bolt on the machine. Anyhow, I have not decided whether to file for patent before putting it on the market, but you will know shortly. Just wait until you see this one!!!

    Bruce

EDIT: Upon testing, the new machine definitely has the capabilty of cutting metal, but it has to work much too hard for this task and it must be slowed down a lot, however it cuts PCB material fairly well.
