    What's the glide ratio of one of those suits? It can't be a whole lot better than free-fall, can it?

    Probably not. He did pick a pretty steep area to jump off and got pretty close to the ground at times. Made me wonder if a flying suit with inflated tubes/ribs might be possible.

    Not a chance. Might have 40 or so years ago but I'm getting too old for that kind of s^!t. Can't help but wonder though.

    Let's think about that...
    40 years ago you would have risked losing the 40 years of life you have had from then til now.
    Now there is 40 years less life to lose.
    Ergo. Makes more sense to consider having a go now than it did then:)
