Parallax needs to get a handle on their home website

Hi all,
Minor complaints here:

The Eddie Robot Platform, until this Friday, indicated availability to be 12/2/2011. It now says out-of-stock. Did it really sell out that fast?

I was hoping to purchase an Eddie Propeller Controller board when the Eddie Robot Platform became available again, but I guess that will not happen.

Neither Jessica nor Matt are responding to requests for product availability updates on the Eddie Update! thread on the Robotics Forum.

Also, the home page of the website says that the 2.85 watt solar cells are in stock, but when you go to that solar cell product, it says out-of-stock.

    Parallax Customer Service is the place to resolve these things, not the Forums. Waiting for response of the Forums is rather hit or miss as Parallax employees have other duties besides participating here. At times, they can wander away for weeks or months.

    In general, they will find a way to fill your order regardless of the situation as customers are well-respected.

    Try a direct email or phone call.

    Our apologies.... On Friday, Parallax had almost 3 times the number of packages going out than we normally do which is a VERY good thing... I'm sure that the error in stock numbers will be resolved soon.

    Hi Beau,
    Thanks for the response. Not trying to criticize, but was hoping for some updated info on the Eddie component parts. When the Eddie Platform kit went from delivery on 12/2/2011 to "out of stock" I thought that there might be additional production delays and was hoping for an update.
