Game scoreboard in a TFT screen

Hi.
I'm new to the propeller and the firts time I hear about it I ordered a gangster gadget development board.

I have a litle experience in the arduino and I'm in the moment trying to develope a new scoreboard to an old pinball machine that i get...

The idea is to use the arduino to manage all the inputs from the switch matrix and the outputs to the lamps matrix and the propeller to get the video and audio from a SD card to the scoreboard(TFT).

The firt I want to try is display a text that represents the score ang get it incremented when I get some event in the arduino that I can pass to the prop by UART comunication.

So I'm here to get some orientation gidelines from the experts to help me to best understand this great piece of hardwhare that is the propeller.

Just a suggestion: It would be cheaper (and easier) to use the Propeller to manage the switch martix and Video. With 30 General Purpouse I/O and Eight seperate Cogs (processors), the Propeller will have more than enough I/O and processing power to handle the switch martix. for more info on the propeller, check ot te folowing webpages:
