Hyperlink continues on next line after CR

For about the last month I have been noticing this odd behavior: If you insert a hyperlink on a line and issue a carriage return, the first character of the next line is also link and highlighted in blue.

My last post here included the entire next line in the link.

I have noticed the same in posts from other people.

Windows XP SP3 w/ Google Chrome.

    Are you using the GUI editor or using [ url ] tags?

    I notice the issue on your post in the link, but I haven't noticed it elsewhere (Ubuntu w/ Chromium)
