Hi,
I am new to the Parallax Forums so this is my first post. I would like to know if it is possible to control my Boe Bot using a Spektum DX6i 2.4 Ghz transmitter or even an older AM transmitter? I am right now just using a regular receiver with the transmitter and the Board Of Education not even powered up. Is there any way to use the BOE to control the servos?
Thanks

Yes, by measuring a receiver channel pulse width using PULSIN. Connect the receiver to to the STAMP/BOE, connect the target servos to the STAMP/BOE, measure the incoming pulse width, then command the servos according to the measured pulse widths.
I am not sure what PULSIN or STAMP/BOE means ( i probably should but i don't). By receiver you mean the 2.4 Ghz. receiver correct? I am new to programming so I am a bit confused.
STAMP/BOE refers to the BS2/Board of Education (the carrier board that is popular).
Take a look through the BS2 reference manual: http://www.parallax.com/StoreSearchResults/tabid/768/txtSearch/reference/List/0/SortField/4/ProductID/143/Default.aspx
You may also want to read through some of the Stamps in class series of books, available for pdf download: http://www.parallax.com/Store/Books/EducationalTexts/tabid/181/List/0/CategoryID/66/Level/a/SortField/0/Default.aspx
What you want is a skidd steering BS2 program for your Boe Bot. Please find it attached.
