Here are some photos of our newest board, "Merlin".
The primary goal for this board is to allow the Quickstart board to drive the
"Magician" chassis from Sparkfun for $15. This lets you create a robot for only $65 in parts.
It also provides 1/2 of a Prop Platform's pins. This allows you to do things like connect our 4.3" and 3.5" touchscreen breakouts.
It also provides a spare eeprom socket, which can be used for our 3AD 3-axis accelerometer and also a gyro (coming soon) to make a 6DOF IMU.
Additionally, there is a 5V regulator on board and 4 three-pin headers for servos or 5V sensors.
It also has a place for an optional mini-breakout board.

BTW: I think this board will also work well with the ArdBot chassis with "lobo" servos.
By "lobo", I mean that we've modified a servo so that it only uses 2 wires and these 2 wires are connected directly to the motor and the circuit board is removed....
Or, you could use the more regular "continous rotation" modified servos.
