Ingenious use of a large inflatable "robot". I'm sure articulation will be improved for future generation models. Big, cheap, compliant, easy to transport & store. Some serious money to be made for large animated characters.

It looks a little shaky during the walk because of the light weight, however the inflatable concept as a housing and very light weight support structure has many applications for space and other Earth bound structures that don't require heavy weight loading. This concept could be applied to the ULT Ultra Large Telescope as the mounting could easily top several tons and will need a much lighter version for handling. More application on this idea will be applied to the ULT or the housing and mounting in the following thread.
