Newbie Alert questions on bs2 for hexbot

I am new to this kind of stuff. This is kind of what i want to work up to only a six legged version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IAZpuwhqew&feature=related Yes I realise this is an ambitious project, but can it be done using bs2's? I'm sure many might say to that the javilin card would be better but I have no idea how the spin thin works. I have a bit of understanding of Basic.

    LOTS of BS2s, maybe. There's 27 servos there, hiflyin. Probably 6x BS2s or more. Got $300?

    You're better off using a dedicated servo controller. See http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1356 for a nice 24-servo unit. $50. Hey, I just saved you lots of grief and $250. How about $125 for my trouble? :)
