I got the mini-projector Eye-Clops for $5. It doesn't emit any light, but I thought it might be worth $5 in parts. I was wondering if anybody has played with these things.

It looks like this is one of two boards that are part of the lense housing. The labeling makes me wonder if it is a mult-colored led.

The Eye-Clops uses an array of leds to project an image. Each pixel is its own light source.

Was the small PCB behind the lens? I only took an Eye-Clops apart to see if it could be made smaller (not easily).

I would have thougt the LED array would be more complex than the PCB in your picture.

That one was beside the lens underneath the heatsink.

There is another board inside the lens housing. It has a ribbon cable attaching it to the main board (one without RCA connections). It has an attached prism.

The board in the picture has connections (R+,R-,G1+,G1-,B+,B-, G2+, G2-)

Looks like they worked together somehow to put the light/image out of the projector.
