Does anyone else have mismatched spin directories?

After recovering from a crashed portable drive I went about backing up critical files. I loaded up my most important spin file called "3D machine V2" to the Propeller tool but I could not find the folder where it was located to back it up. The file was hidden under two additional folders that were not displayed when I held the cursor over the tab. The two folders were "AppData and Virtualstore". In fact, I'm not sure how I found those folders.
I discovered that my spin files are spread out haphazardly in bits and pieces in several directories.
I wanted to know if anyone else has spin directories that have several mismatched hierarchies?

    Have you checked the Virtual Store?

    Many of my Spin files end up in:

    C:\Users\Duane\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Parallax Inc

    It's a pain sometimes.
