I and the rest of the techs stood looking down at this slab of black conductive foam with 5 "monsterous" 40-pin packs and wondered out loud, "what the heck are these?!".

The 8008's didn't fair too well after the flood in Nashville May 2010. I had 20 that fetched a pretty good price on ebay.
