Another Forum Change - Where is the Backup?

It's very freaky. Now when I compose a post, a yellow flagged message comes up in the lower right corner of the post saying a backup was just made (autosaved). This happens the same on a mac and on a pc with Apple Safari and Microsoft IE so its not computer browser related. If a backup is being made by the forum, I want to know how to access it because I lost many posts due to forum glitches. For one, those special shift, function, alt, control "features" need to be disabled if they relate to the forum.

I am replying to this post.
Then I will cancel my post, but retrieve this lost info when I open a new reply.

Now I'll add a picture to show where the restore button can be located.

'Just tried that here, but my browser does not display a restore button in the Quick Reply frame. Of course, it doesn't display the formatting toolbar, either, but that's probably a box I need to check in my user settings. Maybe the two are connected.

I have never seen an auto save restore option in any of my posts or edits, in any of the three mentioned browsers. Why does this work for you and not for me?
