No servos or electronics. Here's your chance!
How high will it go? I say over $60. Whaddyathink?

Looks compelling.
I need a Brainy Smurf to go with my Para Smurf Toddler to tell my Gold Toddler what to do.
Propeller Proto Board lines up with two of the stand-offs.
I can probably cough over the rest of the guts if somebody on the forums buys it.

P.S. Had to place a bid myself. This is just too good to pass up! Sorry about that, CrazyRabbit.

$100.01... the price is right! Never reveal your limit, unless you're prepared to go higher. But your honesty bespeaks an honorable level of trust among Forumistas, doggiedoc. Hope you win!
I have more success on Ebay when I slightly overbid by an odd amount, like $101.99, if I really want something. Snipers tend to bid even amounts like $100.
Now if it was a golden one.... that'd be a different story!

What gives?

@doggiedoc
I agree with the greediness.
I got my Gold Toddle a couple of years ago from http://www.hvwtech.com. A good outfit out of Canada that has been selling Parallax
products for quite a while. I bought , what I believe was the last new Gold Toddler on the planet. Haven't seen a new one for sale since.
Somewhere the QC got dropped, and I got this:
But hey, they are still Gold, kinda.
Well I have been thinking of redoing it in chrome using this product:
http://www.alsacorp.com/products/killercans/kc/killerchrome.htm
I have the paint kit already, and have been thinking on what I want to use it on. This or a quadcopter.
I think the Toddler wins.
Jim
I started a thread for it here

Only 1 hour left on this Penguin, bid is up to $60.
I read Humanoido's post and bid on the Penguin. I have a black Pengiun on the way home!

I was gonna bid on it, win it, pay for it, and then submit the receipt for reimbursement to Ken for "Parallax Museum Expenses" - seeing as how my corner of the building seems to collect all the odd stuff...it would have made a nice addition to all the eclectic-ness of my hovel back here.
Oh, well. Maybe next time.

Cha ching.
Nice score Paul! I purposely did not bid knowing there were a few people here that wanted it. Now that Ken has the parts to complete it, well worth the money!!
Send pictures!
Jim
Matt, Ken has some secret stock in his office, and it's probably not in inventory. A late night procurement with an EDDIE. .
He may still have this one:

Jim
Now if I can just get my hands on a QuadRover!!
Yea,
I'm waiting for Lauren to put one on the "Deal of a Day"
Holding my breath.
Jim
Remember we still have posted walking code and a lot of resources at the Yahoo Toddler Robot Group for the Parallax Toddler robot. I'm looking forward to seeing your robot assembled in the near future.
