Hi,
I am new to the propeller world and just received my Propeller Quickstart (Yeahh)... I plugged it in, there's current and everything but my computer doesn't detect anything, it doesn't even see the USB connection... I tried various USB ports that I know are working and still no change... I can't fint any doccumentation about that I can't install the driver neither because I don't know how to do it in windows 7 when the device is undetected.
Do you have any sugestions on how I could make it work ?
thank you

In your case, the board is powered from the USB port and you've just downloaded and installed the proper USB driver, so there may be something else going on and a forum may not be the best way to resolve the problem. Often speaking with a person will lead to a fix much more quickly than this slow back and forth.
Just wondering if this is still true?..

Edit: I have to send them the board back so they can test the Chips ... that's pretty disappointing since it is brand new and I have to get working on it right away anyway I'll do what I have to to get things to work
thank you for your quick answers

EDIT: Ahah I got it to work it was the cable... it transmitted current but for an unknow reason the computer didn't recognize the device I tried with another cable and everything works fine
