    I would just like to say that there are many people in the computer/electronics fields, who do not have college degrees, yet can run circles around those who do have degrees. So if you can easily do jobs such as these and are interested, apply! The thing is to get past the "human resources" types and talk with a technical type.

    I agree with you completely, and if you read the job requirements carefully you will notice that is says.

    "Four year degree in a related discipline or any combination of experience, education and/or training that
    would provide the required skills, knowledge and abilities or Equivalent industry experience."

    We are looking for a Propeller Firmware person that really knows there stuff. Most of our existing code
    is in PASM so you will need to be good with that also.

    It's the mark of a good company to acknowledge equivalent experience and education when considering prospective employees. Some of the most successful engineers I know were self-taught and doing things that they don't even cover in college.

    I meet the folks at SL-Tech. Good bunch of people doing cool stuff with the Propeller.
