Picked up an Intel Q3 Microscope (Thanks to Bryan) on the cheap..
This should be perfect for finding trace issues and soldered connections that didn't make the cut.
Once you install the drivers and the silly kids software, the unit can be used in any paint program which accepts TWAIN input.
These things are reasonably cheap on Ebay. (See Attached)

The wafer probers I used to work on floated the linear motor on air, and sometimes you would have to change the air orifices to get a proper 'float'. The old orifice would go into a small bin, because I had no way of knowing the size (they had holes varying from 1-12 mils in the center). I used the microscope to capture images of known sizes and then went through my discards and was able to properly identify them by visual comparison. Haven't used it a lot lately, though.
