    That's really cool!
A setup like this might be as common as vacuum cleaners in the average home in the future.
To be honest I'm a little bit disturbed by the trend of games getting more and more realistic and at the same time getting more and more violent.
People can talk as much as they want about how games doesn't really affect the mind and "it's just a game".
Research on the matter tells a completely different story.

Btw, I know one of the programmers from DICE. When we were teenagers we used to compete with each other on who could program the coolest demo effects on our Amigas. :)
He ended up as a great game coder for DICE in Stockholm and I became a consultant coding "communications stacks" for Ericssons radio base stations.
(For some reason, more than 50% of my colleagues learned programming on the Amiga or C64)

It's sad but true, a good 80% of games for high-graphics consoles like the PS3 and Xbox 360 are rated "M" or higher. I realized a few months ago that the only games I play are from 2005 or earlier, probably due to this fact. The level of profanity in video games is also increasing as the graphics get better.

BTW, I want to be the first to try the future "in home" setup like this!
Can you imagine what it could be like if the game itself was programmed for compatibility with this setup?!?!

That was really cool. I didn't think it would be long before someone made something like that. It might not ever fit in our living rooms, but i imagine something like a movie theater, only you play virtual reality games in it. They could charge all kinds of $$$ and people would pay it... As for games getting more violent, i guess it is just the nature of video games. If we have better graphics, why would we waste it on Mario or something? Don't get me wrong, games don't have to be violent, but most of the fun ones are. Even if it is comical violence. Also, Good upbringing and parental guidance works wonders:)
