The Gyroscope Module is a low power 3-axis angular rate sensor featuring temperature data as an added bonus.

Raw measured angular rate and temperature data are accessed from the selectable digital interface (I2C or SPI). The module features a small package design and has an easy to access SIP interface with a mounting hole for quick connectivity to your projects. It is designed for use with a large variety of microcontrollers with different voltage requirements. Stock #27911

The Compass Module 3-Axis HMC5883L is designed for low-field magnetic sensing with a digital interface. This compact sensor fits into small projects such as UAVs and robot navigation systems.
The sensor converts any magnetic field to a differential voltage output on 3 axes. This voltage shift is the raw digital output value, which can then be used to calculate headings or sense magnetic fields coming from different directions. Example code in PBASIC, Spin, and C are provided in the Downloads. Stock #29133

The Altimeter Module is a high resolution (20 cm) altimeter sensor with SPI and I2C bus interface.

The module includes a high linearity barometric pressure sensor and a high resolution temperature output, allowing implementation of an altimeter/thermometer without any additional sensors.Different operation modes allow the user to optimize for conversion speed or current consumption. The module is designed for use with a large variety of microcontrollers with different voltage requirements. Stock #29124

The Sharp GP2Y0A21YK0F infrared distance measuring sensor uses a beam of infrared light to reflect off an object to measure its distance. Because it uses triangulation of the beam of light to calculate the distance, it is able to provide consistent and reliable readings which are less sensitive to temperature variation or the object’s reflectivity. The sensor outputs an analog voltage corresponding to the distance of the object, and can easily be read using an inexpensive analog to digital converter (ADC) chip.

The Sharp IR Sensor Stand kit (725-28995) provides a very convenient method of mounting the sensor, and the Sharp IR Sensor to Servo Cable (805-28995) makes it easy to wire up to a breadboard or microcontroller board. Stock #28995
