Here is a little idea I though I'd share. You can sometimes mount things like LCDs from the rear of your box (if nothing else is in the way) by using long standoffs . This can make for a cleaner appearance. In this case I also taped a piece of clear plastic from some discarded packaging on the inside to protect the front of the display.

Yeah - most project boxes have a taper and dimples where the molded posts intersect the bottom. The boxes I used in my previous post are from Hammond Industries Mfg. and have a textured surface. I put little rubber feet on the front corners to tilt the display up...
The boxes from Radio Shack are pretty low quality IMHO...
