Macbook Pro software trouble
I was attempting to download the Basic Stamp editor onto my new Macbook Pro (it's not running Lion, it's the one before, I believe it's called Snow Leopard) I got the actual Basic Stamp Program to download, (BS2) but for some reason It is not recognizing any Serial Ports or identifying my Boe-Bot... I had a friend tell me it's because It isn't recognizing the DEBUG command and I'm going to require to more programs to download to allow it to.
Was he accurate?
and If so could someone please walk me through how to do this, please?
I have to do this project by monday in class and I can't even get the program running.

The Mac 3rd party Stamp editor is called MacBS2 and you'll need to make sure you have a current copy. The documentation included with it tells you how to download and install what's called the "tokenizer" (see bottom of this page) which is essentially the compiler and the downloader. You also need to have a USB driver installed for the USB to serial adapter you're using. Not all of them work for programming Stamps. The ones sold by Parallax all use the FTDI chipset and you can always get the latest I/O driver here. These work along with those sold directly by FTDI.
