I'll be participating in this year's IREX 2011. If anyone living in Japan would like to visit this exhibition, I can offer you an invitation letter for free admission (pm me with your details) but please visit my booth :).

We will be showing our interactive storytelling (plus other activities) mini humanoid robot.

I never cease to be impressed with the breadth and depth of the projects that my fellow forumistas are involved with. MaxTuxLin, good luck with the expo!

Hmmm... Nov 9-12 in Tokyo. I'd love to visit Japan again, but need to think a bit about this and find a dog sitter. Mainly, I'd like to take a day visit to Nikko National Park and shop the bookstores for English texts in Tokyo. Japan is always fun and regardless of claims that it is too expensive I've found it really isn't so bad if one is willing to use Lonely Planet.

In Tokyo, one can get a hotel for less than $40 USD that is clean and safe - not so in San Francisco (my hometown). And food isn't so expensive either if lunch is one's main meal.
