HB25 on a Prop-1 (BS1)

OK, next dumb noob question.
I tried running the Parallax motor test to no avail. The code used: HB-25 Motor Test.bs1
I've got the whole rig currently set up a la Scary Terry, using a small DC motor instead of the eventual wiper motor: http://www.scary-terry.com/wipmtr/hb25demo.jpg
When I move up to a wiper motor, I'll be driving the HB25/motor with a separate power supply, but for this little test motor, I'm powering it off the screw terminals of the Prop-1 (12V).
Anyway, I uploaded the code and... no motor movement. Everything powers up, all connections checked. What did I miss?
Thank you for your forthcoming wisdom as I take my first steps with this foolishness

Turns out I needed to disconnect the ULN pins for Pin0. Motor now ramps up and down as it should.
