I am building a sensor package to attach to a weather balloon. I bought both a board of education and a carrier board. I was told I would need to get everything working on the bread board and then transfer it to the carrier board to place into the payload. On the board of eduaction there are a line of slots titled VSS and VDD at the top to get and dump electricity to. Where or how do I replicate that on the carrier board?

On a regular Carrier Board (#27120) you will find Vss and Vdd marked on the upper right side of where the chip plugs in. The two holes immediately adjacent to each should be electrically connected to Vss and Vdd as well - you can verify with a Volt-Ohmeter. If you need additional connections to Vss and Vdd (more than two), you will have to work out a way to connect others. One way is to put pins headers through, and connect with short wire on one side.
