Will the Eddie boards be available separately? If so, how soon? I could use one right now and could probably use a couple more soon after.
I see a larger RESET switch on the board but I don't see an open PAD for the reset line. When designing the boards it would be a huge help if you had a pair of pads .100" apart with one tied to ground and the other to the RESET line. That way someone could easily add a two pin header and add a remote reset switch. It wouldn't add any cost to the board and makes it easier for people to use.....
Hi Bill -
I'm told that the "hardware" is rock solid now, and we have our first production run done (as shown in another thread).
Now that Eddie is in production status, I'm sure Kevin M. is anxious to wrap up the Wifi software - I'll 'rattle his cage' and see if he's up to giving yawl an update
Edit: Well, I guess Jess' link (below) sums it up. Bummer :-(

@Roy: Glad you like the boards! Yes, those are the chips used on the HB-25's, and the 8th ADC channel is actually used to read the current battery voltage.
@RobotWorkshop: Not initially. We may offer a modified version in the future. With our current demands in manufacturing, we're only building enough for Eddie orders. Thanks also for the RESET suggestion, it's definitely a good one. We've kind of reached the point of no return for this order, but will definitely add it to the list for the future!
Eddie's controller is a nice looking board. I second the call to eventually make it available as a separate item.
As long as we're making Reset requests, I always prefer the reset button along an edge, in case boards are stacked using standoffs. The switches along an edge are easier to reach.

That's awesome, I kind of thought the 8th ADC input might be reading battery voltage, that's handy I predict that I will make mine do some "auto-docking to recharge". Of course, I'll have to make a dock and something to mount on the bot to meet up with the dock.

I think you forgot to post the pictures of the WiFi modules!!!
{couldn't resists the opportunity to tweak you!}
Beat me to it.
Also, where's the 8th ADC channel?
Will WiFi production begin soon?
Thanks!
